Under the sculpted aluminum hood sits BMW’s 2.0-liter BMW TwinPower Turbo DOHC 16-valve Inline 4-cylinder engine (B48 engine code) featuring a twin-scroll turbocharger, High Precision Direct Injection, VALVETRONIC fully variable valve control, and Double-VANOS variable camshaft timing. This powertrain generates 248 horsepower at 5,200 RPM and 258 lb-ft of torque available early across a broad torque band from 1,450 to 4,800 RPM.
