Offered for sale is this 2012 Aston Martin Virage Volante Convertible, finished in Midnight Blue over a cream leather interior with blue trim and a blue cloth electric soft top, powered by a 5.9 liter V12 engine running power to the rear wheels through a 6-speed automatic transmission, with 32,469 miles on the odometer as of this writing.
This Virage is a special one-year only model, meant to slot in between the DB9 and DBS models. The differences among the three are subtle, but this is a case of splitting hairs between some of the best-looking cars Aston Martin ever made - and by extension, the best-looking cars any company ever made, in our opinion. This era of Aston Martin benefitted from it time under the wing of Ford's Premiere Automotive Group, which had ended in 2007 but had produced the platform used to build the Virage. The result is this well engineered and powerful GT Coupe with the styling and luxury interior appointments and details that make driving it feel special. The 5.9 liter V12 produces 490hp, delivering the best kind of cultured tones and harmonics that a naturally aspirated engine excels at providing.
This example boasts great color specification and has also been in our care and service for the last two years. Exterior condition including the top is very good with little sign of wear, with the light cream interior free of discoloration or creasing, and everything is in proper working condition.
