2005 Chevrolet SSR LS

Amenities include brushed aluminum trim accents, SSR-branded floor mats, air conditioning, cruise control, and an optional Bose sound system with an in-dash CD changer.

The leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline, and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. Auxiliary gauges for voltage, torque, and outside temperature are located on the center stack. The digital odometer indicates over 9k miles.

The 6.0-liter LS2 V8 was factory rated at 390 horsepower and 405 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a Torsen limited-slip differential.

The Chevrolet SSR (Super Sport Roadster) is a retractable hardtop convertible pickup truck manufactured by Chevrolet between 2003 and 2006. The 2005 SSR used the 390 hp (291 kW) LS2 V8 also found in the C6 Corvette, Trailblazer SS, and Pontiac GTO, and also offered this manual transmission option, the six-speed Tremec, for the first time.
