The 100 Series Land Cruiser / Lexus LX is widely considered one of the best Land Cruiser generations ever sold in the U.S., powered by Toyota's legendary 2UZ V8 - one of the most reliable engines Toyota ever built. The previous owner overheated the original engine due to a failed rear heater-core T-pipe, which is a known weak point on these trucks. We replaced the engine with a used JDM 2UZ engine imported from Japan with only 82K miles. While the engine was out, we took the opportunity to address and upgrade everything properly. Engine was purchased from a reputable supplier and comes with paperwork! Recent service and upgrades include: New timing belt, water pump, timing belt tensioner, timing pulleys, serpentine belt, serpentine belt tensioner, spark plugs, all filters, and exhaust manifold gaskets. Fresh fluids throughout: engine oil, coolant, transmission fluid, front and rear differential fluid, transfer case fluid, and AHC suspension fluid. Upgraded aluminum rear heater-core T-connectors, replacing the original plastic pieces that are known to fail. OEM rack and pinion was also just replaced.
