This 2003 SE in rare Epsom Green is not only a great looking truck, with some very hard-to-find features, but it is also a superlatively driving truck! How do I know? Because after my shop finished with the truck's reconditioning, I have personally driven it nearly 800 miles, every one of which has been trouble free and easy-going. Even lately, when temperatures here in GA are pushing 100 degrees! Even in these conditions, the truck runs well under 200 degrees, even idly in traffic. (And BTW, the AC works great!) That's a fantastic testament to the effectiveness of the revolutionary inline thermostat conversion, in addition to the coolant system flush and fill we performed as part of our usual course of reconditioning. Nothing - absolutely nothing - is more important to your long-term ownership satisfaction that having your Disco run nice and cool all the time. Forget the horror stories you've heard about catastrophic engine overheating - it's not happening with to you! So here's some surprising special features to consider: - this is a totally rust-free Georgia-only truck. Rust is a killer, but not here. -the rare factory front brushguard is also completely rust-free and refinished. -it has the very rare extended roof rails which allow additional cross-bars making it very easy to add a roof-top carrier, canoe or kayak mounts, etc. All the cross bars can be removed in minutes if desired. -inside there is another rarity; a factory installed screen divider between the backseat and the cargo area. And it is easily with just two thumbscrews. Of course, we have sent the truck through our very thorough reconditioning regimen to assure you that it is safely, reliably, ready for the road: -all fluids have been serviced as needed with premium brands. -the engine has received a complete inspection, revealing that the head gaskets have been recently upgraded. New plugs were installed. -as mentioned, the cooling system was upgraded with the inline 180degree thermostat as well as new hoses and coolant. The system was vacuum-tested to confirm no leaks and correct recommended coolant installed. -the ABS system was modified to eliminate the "3 Amigos" problem. -the headlights were upgraded to modern LEDs and a pair of powerful driving lights were added to the brushguard featuring daytime running elements. -new premium brake pad and coated rotors were installed. -the highly regarded Venom Power Terra Hunter All Terrain tires were installed in an 1.5" oversize. -all electrical and mechanical functions have been verified. Other upgrades include: -a 9" touchscreen featuring wireless Carplay, Bluetooth hands-free phone, and a back-up camera. -the roof was recovered in Raptor polyurethane texture finish for added durability. -old plastic trim was replaced at the windshield pillars and wiper valence. --new leather-look lever covers were installed. -new front and rear wiper blades, too. -the windows received additional tint in a UV blocking 3M material. -a new life-time guaranteed headliner was installed, but only after all the aging sunroof drains had been resealed.
