2003 BMW M5 Base

Few BMWs have earned the enduring reputation of the E39 M5. Combining the 394-horsepower S62 V8, six-speed manual transmission, rear-wheel drive, and a remarkably balanced chassis, the E39 remains one of the defining performance sedans of the modern era. The final-year 2003 examples are especially desirable, representing the culmination of BMW's development of the platform and the end of an era for the naturally aspirated, manual-transmission M5. Finished in Titanium Silver Metallic over Black leather, this final-year 2003 M5 has traveled just 14,778 miles and has an unusually long history with Enthusiast Auto Group. BMW production records show that chassis CF93084 was produced at Dingolfing on February 18, 2003, for the U.S. market. It retains its original S62 V8 and six-speed manual configuration. The factory specification is particularly well equipped, including an electric glass sunroof, heated power seats with memory and lumbar support, rear and side sunshades, Park Distance Control, xenon headlights, rain-sensing wipers, Professional Navigation, Individual Audio, and the desirable Anthracite Alcantara M headliner. BMW's AIR record also identifies no factory-recorded retrofits. What separates this example, however, is its history with EAG. We first sourced the car directly from its second owner in 2012 with only 3,485 miles. It was then placed with a longtime EAG client in Florida, from whom we purchased it back approximately six months later with just 7,050 miles. In 2013, EAG placed the M5 with another collector in New Jersey, who subsequently relocated the car to California. The car has remained remarkably low-mileage throughout its life and now returns to us showing only 14,778 miles. Its preservation is equally noteworthy. When previously represented by EAG, the Titanium Silver exterior was described as showing very few cosmetic imperfections, while the Black leather cabin remained exceptionally well preserved. The car had also been climate-controlled and kept away from winter conditions, contributing to an unusually clean body and undercarriage. Now back with Enthusiast Auto Group once again, the M5 will undergo our normal comprehensive inspection and evaluation process, with any additional maintenance or preservation needs addressed prior to delivery. With exceptionally low mileage, final-year production, a classic Titanium Silver over Black specification, and an EAG relationship stretching back more than a decade, CF93084 represents exactly the type of E39 M5 we seek to preserve.
