This example was delivered new on July 12, 1989, through Max Dial Porsche-Audi in Inglewood, California, with the original delivery inspection performed at just 61 miles. The car remained with its second owner from 2001 until we acquired it, with the owner driving it very sparingly over the last 25 years. The 1989 model year marked the final year of the G-Series 3.2 Carrera. To commemorate 25 years of the 911, Porsche produced just 500 U.S.-market 25th Anniversary cars — 300 Coupes and 200 Cabriolets. Only 40 of the 200 Cabriolets were finished in Satin Black Metallic, making this color and body-style combination exceptionally rare. Finished in Satin Black Metallic (L729) over the special Silk Grey leather interior (97), this car retains the distinctive Anniversary Edition specification, including the special full-leather interior, color-matched 16-inch Fuchs wheels, special leather console, shorter shift lever, limited-slip differential and Anniversary Edition badging.
