The 1986 Mustang GT sits at a unique crossroads in Fox Body history. It was the first year Ford fitted the 5.0 liter V8 with multiport fuel injection, and it was also the last year of the four headlight front end before Ford redesigned the nose entirely for 1987. The Pro 5.0 long handle shifter kit keeps the driver connected to every gear change, and the Baer four wheel brake system gives it the stopping power to match what the engine can do. Inside, the grey cloth interior is clean with red piping on the seats that pops nicely against the silver exterior. A black leather steering wheel, dark grey accents, and boost and fuel gauges mounted on the A pillar give the cabin a purposeful, driver-focused feel.
