V8 Swap & Drivetrain

Under the hood is a Small Block Chevy V8, paired with a Holley Sniper EFI system. The fuel injection setup gives the truck a more modern and consistent fueling system compared with a traditional carbureted setup while retaining the character and simplicity of a classic V8.

The truck runs and drives, and importantly, it does not overheat. It has the power and sound you’d expect from a V8-powered classic Land Cruiser while still being something you can actually enjoy on the road.

Exterior

The body has been Rhino-lined, giving the truck a tough, utilitarian appearance that fits the FJ60 extremely well. It isn’t trying to be a perfectly restored museum piece — it’s built more like a classic Land Cruiser you can actually use.
