The build incorporates a substantial collection of genuine 1977 Trans Am components, including original sheet metal, trim, and hardware. The project began with an original 1977 Trans Am donor. When the original cabin and rear structure were determined to be beyond reasonable repair, a clean 1980 Firebird shell was used. The builder transferred numerous original 1977 components to create the finished car.
