The first year of the 5th generation Cadillac DeVille, 1977 Cadillac DeVilles are a complete redesign from their predecessors, with a new body style that was significantly shorter, slimmer, and lighter – yet gave buyers larger trunk space & much more interior room!! This 1977 Cadillac DeVille features the popular “Cabriolet” trim option, with “Cabriolet” not being a convertible as is common today, but rather a vinyl covering for rear section of the roof! The Dark ‘Edinburgh Green’ metallic paint looks great, highlighting the Cadillac’s body lines!! Interior is typical Cadillac luxury with plush leather seats & wood trim! Under hood is the standard Cadillac 7.0L (427CI) V8 mated to a three-speed automatic transmission. The car also has the same Cadillac wire wheel caps in had when it left the dealerships lot the first time!!
