This 1974 Chevrolet K5 Blazer 4×4 was custom built in 2018, which included body repairs, a repaint in black, application of undercoating, an interior refresh, and an engine swap. The truck was sold in 1974 by Robinson-Chambers Chevrolet in Ferndale, Washington, and it reportedly remained in the state until it was acquired by a Texas resident in 2021. Finished in black over black vinyl upholstery, the truck is powered by a replacement 350ci V8 mated to a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Power is routed to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and an NP205 dual-range transfer case. The Dana 44 front axle and GM 12-bolt rear axle are reportedly fitted with Detroit lockers and 4.11:1 Yukon gears. Additional equipment includes Classic Auto Air climate control, a black removable soft top, a Tuff Country suspension lift kit, Bilstein 5100 shocks, 15″ Alcoa wheels, a RetroSound stereo, Dakota Digital gauges, and a TMI dash pad and seats. Exterior features include aftermarket wheel-arch flares, fog lights, K5 Blazer badges, chrome-finished bumpers, and a Sure Pull Towing Systems receiver hitch. The black soft top can be fully removed, or the sides and back panel can roll up in a safari-style configuration. The rear window has been removed from the tailgate. Alcoa 15″ alloy wheels are wrapped in 36×14.5″ Super Swamper TSL Radial tires, and Warn manually locking hubs are fitted in front. The suspension has been modified with a Tuff Country suspension lift, Bilstein 5100 shocks front and rear, and a Skyjacker Black Max steering stabilizer. Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The cabin has been fitted with TMI seats upholstered in black vinyl accompanied by a TMI dash pad. Chevrolet-branded rubber floor mats line the footwells, and equipment includes Classic Auto Air climate control, ORD twin sticks to control the transfer case, a B&M T-handle shifter, a RetroSound stereo with Bluetooth connectivity, and Kicker speakers with a subwoofer mounted in the rear.
