Stock Number: 2218 - This is a 1973 Pontiac Trans AM SD-455. It was sold new at Davis Pontiac in Fort Wayne, Indiana. It is one of only 180 sold New in this configuration, making it an ultra-rare Pontiac. This is a one-family-owned Super Duty that we acquired a few years ago and have enjoyed in our private collection until now. There is a great video showing the day we picked this up. It is very entertaining to watch, and you can learn a lot about the car's history. It has its original numbers-matching engine under the hood, but it has a high-performance CAM installed, boosting its HP and Torque above factory standards. This SD is Fast, but still has good street manners so you can enjoy it on a Sunday Cruise or local Car Show. We did several maintenance items to get this TA ready to drive and enjoy.
