Starting with the paint and trim, the original Cotillion White paint shines beautifully. There are no dings or dents anywhere, The body is pin straight and has never been hit. The Brocade & Leather seating combination is perfect! There is literally no sign of wear. The same is true for the dashboard. Everything is perfectly clean and clear. All gauges work properly. Features include all that a Cadillac of its day should have including power window and door locks, tilt & telescopic steering wheel, climate control air conditioning, AM-FM stereo with 8-track player and power antenna, power bench seat and more. The dash pad and headliner are flawless. Even the ash trays are spotless and every lighter works! There is no doubt as to the actual mileage of this car. The engine is the original 472ci 220hp V8 with the original Rochester 4bbl carburetor. She starts right up, drives perfectly smooth and straight without a sound and stops on a dime. The engine looks as though it was detailed…. It was not! It is completely untouched. Tires are 85% or better! When we acquires this car, we drove it 175 miles to get it home without any issues at speeds of between 70-75mph. So what’s wrong with it? There are 2 standouts we would like to mention. The vinyl top is absolutely beautiful but there are a few small bubbles at the bottom below the rear window. This is quite common on the Caddy’s of this era. After more than 50 years and 34100 miles, we are happy to say that this the only issue worth noting on this beautiful classic.
