1972 Pontiac LeMans Convertible

1972 Pontiac LeMans Sport GTO Convertible.. Although Pontiac did not officially offer a GTO convertible in 1972. Customers were able to pick options to create such a car. As the case with this rare example.. We have the PHS that shows this car was ordered as close to a GTO ragtop as it gets.. In 1972 Pontiac only produced only 3,438 LeMans Sport Ragtops. This car breaks down to around 200 built with L78 400 and Endura nose package. Ordered new at Sam Dixon Pontiac in Celina Ohio. Rear bumper chrome is very nice. Very respectible white power top w/ glass rear window that works fine. Reverse lights work.. 15-inch Honeycomb wheels w/ BF Goodrich radial T/A's.. Tinted windshield. Excellent hood & Rocker moldings. GTO decals. Paint is driver quality, showing bubbles & imperfections, etc., but it looks great from 10 feet away.. A wet sand and buff will go a long way. Original ivory bucket seat interior, 3 Spoke steering wheel, Very nice original door panels, Factory Am/Fm radio, Excellent dash. Under dash stereo, Gauges, Correct ivory console w/ shifter, Remote driver's mirror, Deluxe seat belts, Pontiac floor mats, All lights work, All gauges work. Clock works. Parade boot.. Excellent trunk floor, Rally wheel spare tire & jack. Very nice original floors, The frame has one repair done right. New rear air shocks, In 2023 this Pontiac had 107k miles actual miles on the clean Mass title. Today the odometer shows 111k..
