According to the original Ford Dealer Shipper Invoice, it left Dearborn, MI on May 2, 1972, and according to the original Bill of Sale, the car was sold by Colonial Ford on May 19, 1972. The car was delivered with a long list of options and was dressed in Ford Light Blue exterior paint over Black interior with Black vinyl convertible top. Power comes from its 351 V8 Cobra Jet engine, 4 speed manual transmission and its Traction-Lok rear differential. The car was ordered with over $1600 dollars in options and it required 2 window stickers, options include: Power convertible top with glass window, kitted vinyl seat trim, molded door trim panels, rocker and wheel lip moldings, 4 barrel carb, 4 speed manual transmission, Hurst shifter, Wide Oval white letter tires, power steering, tilt steering column, Rim Blow-deluxe steering wheel, power front disc brakes, factory air conditioning, AM radio with Stereosonic tape system, console, color keyed mirrors, tinted glass, power windows, competition suspension, instrument group etc. Today, the car features a high quality, highly detailed, older restoration that was masterfully executed in the early 2000’s.
