1969 Chevrolet Chevelle

This sinister 1969 Chevelle SS is finished in Tuxedo black over a Black Bucket seat interior, the car sits just right on 15-inch Magnum 500 wheels and, more importantly, it drives exceptionally well. Extensive receipts and documentation accompany the car, including supporting documentation for its high-performance drivetrain.

At the heart of the Chevelle is a Pat Musi-built 555ci big-block, backed by receipts and built around a Dart Big M block. Internals include a Manley 4340 4.25-inch stroke crankshaft, Manley 4340 connecting rods, Manley Platinum Series pistons, plasma-moly rings, Clevite bearings, and a COMP Cams hydraulic roller camshaft. Up top are AFR 305 cylinder heads, an Edelbrock RPM intake, and a Gary Williams 950 CFM carburetor, while a March Performance serpentine system completes the package.

Putting that big-block power to the pavement is a Tremec TKO 600 5-speed manual transmission paired with an RST clutch and new 3-inch driveshaft. A Ford 9'' with a 4.10 posi was chosen to handle the almost 700ft lbs of torque. The combination gives the car wonderful street manners. Its happy to go for a calm cruise, drop the pedal and its ready to be a heavy hitting big-block muscle car! The overdrive fifth gear makes it enjoyable out on the highway.

Stopping power comes from factory power front disc brakes and rear Wilwood disc brakes. Its lowered stance is finished off with 15-inch Magnum 500 wheels, wearing 225/50R15 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires up front and wide 275/60R15 Nitto NT555R rubber out back.
