Beautifully restored and exceptionally well documented, this 1962 Chevrolet Corvette is finished in stunning Honduras Maroon over a black interior and powered by Chevrolet's 327ci/300-horsepower V8.

The Corvette was restored with an emphasis on factory-correct, NCRS-style presentation, although it was never submitted for official NCRS judging. As part of the restoration, the car was refinished in its original Honduras Maroon using traditional lacquer paint, preserving the character and appearance of the finish these cars wore when new.

The restoration and subsequent care are supported by an extensive collection of records, photographs, receipts, manuals, and period literature. Documentation shows considerable attention was paid to correct details, including the installation of a dated radiator, period-appropriate components, and numerous detail items.

Unlike many restored C1 Corvettes with little history beyond the restoration itself, this car also retains an impressive documented mileage trail. It currently shows just 58,762 miles, with service records documenting a consistent progression from 52,813 miles in 2009 through 58,441 miles in 2019.

Records also document continued maintenance following the restoration, including carburetor work, ignition and electrical components, fuel-system service, front suspension and kingpin work, wheel bearings, exhaust, gauges, brake-system service and a replacement master cylinder, among other items.

The car received documented body and paint work in 2015 following an insurance claim, and the corresponding repair documentation accompanies the vehicle.
