1958 Cadillac Eldorado

This 1958 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham is one of 304 examples produced for the model year and has been modified with an air suspension setup and a 429ci V8 that is backed by a TH400 three-speed automatic transmission. Finished in black over a coordinated interior, the car is equipped with rear coach doors, a brushed stainless-steel roof, front disc brakes, power steering, and chrome-finished 15″ Sabre wheels in addition to a power-adjustable front seat, power windows, power locks, and a Sony head unit housed in a fabricated center console. Previous owned since 2020.Each Eldorado Brougham featured a hand-assembled body with a pillarless brushed stainless-steel roof. This example has been refinished in black and has hooded headlights, side mirrors mounted to the A-pillars, rear coach doors, a power-operated antenna, “Dagmar” bumper guards, and rear tail fins. The car rides on an airbag suspension setup and chrome-finished 15″ Sabre wheels that are mounted with Hankook and Coker tires. Power steering is fitted, and the braking system incorporates front discs and a Wilwood master cylinder. The cabin houses two rows of bench seats trimmed in black. Appointments include a power-adjustable front bench, power windows, and power locks. A Sony head unit is housed in a fabricated center console. Components for the air conditioning system have been removed. The two-spoke steering wheel has a horn ring, and instrumentation includes a 120-mph sweep speedometer and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. A trio of auxiliary readouts is located in the center console. The five-digit odometer shows 53k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership. The 429ci V8 was installed circa 2015 and is fitted with an Edelbrock carburetor with vacuum secondaries as well as a 100-amp alternator and PerTronix ignition. Power is routed to the rear wheels through a retrofitted TH400 three-speed automatic transmission.
