It was loved so much by its previous long-term owner that he bought it back twicemost recently reacquiring it to embark on an epic, 4,000-mile cross-country journey from Riverside, California, all the way to Connecticut. The vintage Studebaker performed flawlessly, averaging an impressive 20 MPG.While the car used a bit of oil during that trek due to worn valve guides, the owner has since completely replaced them. We are happy to report that the engine runs tightly and uses very little oil now.
