Additional improvements completed in 2023 included rebuilding both carburetors using ultrasonic cleaning, rebuilding the generator, installing a new voltage regulator, upgrading the ignition with a Pertronix electronic ignition, matching coil, and new spark plugs. The brake system received a new master cylinder and fluid flush, while the front suspension was refreshed with heavy-duty coil springs, shocks, bushings, and a professional alignment. Maintenance continued in 2022 with new tires, brake shoes, wheel cylinders, repacked wheel bearings, a new fan belt, upper radiator hose, minor exhaust service, and professional paint correction followed by a ceramic coating. Heavy-duty rear coil springs were installed in 2021, further contributing to the driving experience. The factory 6-volt electrical system remains in place with a full numbered cloth-clad wiring harness, complemented by upgraded heavy-duty battery cables connected directly to the block and frame.
