Just in on trade from a local friend is this "Cheap Street Rod" with the old cruiser look and updates to make it more driver friendly !! This 1940 Dodge 303 Sedan is an older build but this a fun driver. This Dodge has a 6.5 liter 400 cu "small block" V-8 engine with a 3-speed 350 turbo automatic transmission and a 9 inch Ford rear-end with a 300 gear ratio is what I was told. This Sedan also has power brakes with a dual cup master cylinder, Cadillac tilt and telescoping steering column and Cadillac steering wheel and an original working heater. The engine accessories including a chrome oil pan, chrome valve covers, chrome alternator, chrome 14 inch air cleaner sitting on a 600 cfm Edelbrock carburetor with a electric choke and a Weiand 8004 aluminum intake, GM HEI distributor and a high performance aluminum cooling fan plus an electric fan in front of the radiator help keep the engine cool. The Sunpro oil pressure, water temp and amp gauges help keep an eye on what is going on under the hood. This Dodge has the classic 50's cruiser look with the GE "real deal" dual spot lights, pep mirrors and lake side pipes. This car is an older build with very nice black "tuck-n-roll" interior with black cloth headliner and black matching carpet. All of the glass is in good condition also with only one glass with a crack the driver side rear door window. This classic sits on a set of 15 X 8 chrome reverse "smoothie rims" with moon caps and a matching set of 225/75R15 Hankook Optimo H724 all season white wall radial tires and the rims and tires look like new on this car. Again this is an older build classic that still shows very well and alot more driver friendly at today's highway speeds than back in the 40's with the modern upgrades and a classic original look.
