1926 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost Convertible

****************** STUNNING SILVER GHOST PERMANENT SEDAN ******************** This is a stunning, extremely rare and very important Rolls Royce Silver Ghost Permanent Sedan; one of only five bodies ever made by the American coach-builder Brewster. These were originally made for the Phantom II chassis; three of those bodies were mounted on the Phantom II chassis, one was mounted on a Phantom I chassis and the last one was mounted on this Silver Ghost. This was a left-hand drive chassis and built by Brewster himself at the request of the first owner - Guy Waggoner - back in 1933. When Brewster fitted the body on the Ghost chassis, he also added four-wheel brakes with vacuum booster assist. There is an article written about this car in the Flying Lady magazine back in April of 1954 which we will be happy to share with any interested buyer. This exquisite Rolls Royce has only 33,000 original miles on her; she sat in a museum in Texas for over 50 years. The car was painted and chassis went through a thorough inspection back in 2007. The engine number and chassis number are correct and match. The exterior paint, trim and finish are second to none and the interior and leather roof are in remarkable original condition. The doors are solid and close like a new car. As you can see from the pictures the condition of the interior and wood trim are exceptional. The pictures of the engine and general condition under the bonnet show the care and attention that has been paid to keeping this car in perfect condition. The car has not been driven or started in a good number of years. The engine turns freely and she needs a qualified Rolls Royce technician to properly bring her back to life. We are not that person so the new owner can have the car taken to your technician of choice and we will look after the cost to get her running. There are many Rolls Royce cars out there but only a few truly stand out; this Rolls Royce is one of them. The last one sold at an RM auction back in 2017 for $1,230,000.
