Unique roots tied to elite early Ford heritage, featuring custom-milled aluminum "Accornero" scripts on the exterior cowl, the painted interior dashboard, and precision-engraved directly into the finned aluminum rear differential cover. The name is heavily associated with the late Ron Accornero—a master fabricator, judge, and National Director for the Model A Ford Club of America (MAFCA). BODY, PAINT, & CHASSISThe car is in super clean overall condition, garage kept, and shows no corrosion on the frame rails, suspension, or floors. The frame and body detailing are very nice. The dark teal paint is in good condition, but not quite show quality. It presents beautifully as a highly usable, driveable street cruiser. Titled legally in North Carolina as a 2009 Custom Vehicle.The front end is set up with a classic dropped I-beam axle fully plated in high-shine chrome, anchored by polished steel hairpin radius rods. The rear suspension utilizes an adjustable dual coilover shock setup running straight to a GM Corporate 10-bolt rear end assembly equipped with a custom-cast "Accornero" finned aluminum differential cover, giving the car a leveled, channeled, and aggressive nose-down stance.DRIVETRAIN, ENGINE, & FUEL SYSTEMThe engine is a Small Block Chevrolet V8 block finished in vintage orange, backed by a GM Turbo 350 (TH350) automatic transmission that shifts properly. It is equipped with a custom deep-sump finned aluminum transmission fluid pan with chrome side-walls to maximize cooling. The car runs great, has a lot of power, easily spins the tires, and is a blast to drive.The engine bay is detailed and features a premium O-ring finned aluminum oval air cleaner assembly with matching perimeter-bolt valve covers featuring color-matched orange recesses. Up front is a coordinating finned aluminum OTB Gear breather cap. The engine breathes through ceramic-coated shorty headers dumping into sweeping, custom chrome side-pipe mufflers. It utilizes a progressive mechanical carburetor linkage, a polished high-output alternator, and a serpentine belt pulley system.The fuel system features an excellent piece of custom engineering: the cylindrical tank mounted on the rear deck is an aesthetic piece housing a hidden filler neck. This plumbing runs straight down to the actual operational fuel tank safely mounted flat underneath the chassis. This lowers the center of gravity while maintaining the traditional hot rod silhouette.INTERIOR & ELECTRIC CONVENIENCESAll exterior lights, horn, indicators, and even the mechanical gear indicator work properly. Up front, the car features rare, genuine original 1923 Ford commercial headlights with the authentic stamped Ford script logo that have been fully rewired and function properly.The cockpit includes several one-off custom production pieces built specifically for this car, including a custom aluminum windshield frame, matching side and center mirrors, and a wood trimmed passenger grab handle. The gauges sit in a hand-finished, engine-turned swirled aluminum panel behind a traditional 4-spoke, rivet-secured wood-rimmed steering wheel on an aluminum column. The interior is wrapped in marine-grade tan upholstery with stitched vinyl work across the panels, kick plates, and floor shifter boot. Modern audio speakers are integrated into the lower kick panels. The exterior is finished with classic vintage-style green steel wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires, traditional Ford-stamped chrome center caps, and hand-painted lime-green pinstripe flourishes on the body corners, grille cowl, and rear tank.This is a turn-key, modern custom-built roadster balancing 1920s styling with solid mechanical execution.
