We acquired it directly from one of our best long-time customers, who commissioned the build and spared little expense in creating it. The project was completed by Platinum Custom Cars / Kustoms-Restorations in Manteno, Illinois , with extensive invoices, balance sheets and build photographs documenting the construction process from the bare chassis through final assembly. The records show fabrication and finishing work performed over an extended build period, including chassis setup, suspension fabrication, drivetrain installation, body fitting, metalwork, paint preparation, brake plumbing, component refinishing and final assembly. The finished car is essentially still new, having traveled fewer than 100 miles since completion. It presents as an extremely detailed build throughout, with extensive polished, chromed, painted and custom-fabricated components.
